Movie Review!

I finally saw "The Hunger Games" in theater.

I am the biggest movie critic there is when it comes to books being made into movies.

This did NOT disappoint. I really thought it was as close as the movie could get to the book.

The only character I pictured differently was Kato. I definitely pictured a much more heavy set beastly man more than the boy who almost resembled Peeta a little to much.

Great movie. They did an awesome job matching it as close to the book as possible!

I also watched these over the weekend too:
This was a great movie. Matt Damon is such a talented actor. And the little girl that plays Rosie (his daughter in the film) was terrific.

This was really a feel good film!

If you don't like movies about the government or politics and such then this isn't the movie for you.

J. Edgar Hoover is not to be confused with Herbert Hoover, a former President!

I found it really interesting to learn that so many people pretty much laughed in his face when it came to his idea of having the world having their "finger prints" on a card to help identify criminals.

Not a fast paced movie, but very informative!

  1. Hunger Games....I did not read the book but I DID see the movie and now I am seriously considering reading the series now. I was not sure I was going to like it but I think I may.

We Bought a Zoo, my mom just watched this with my niece and nephew over the weekend and said it was good too.

  3. I felt the same way about the HG movie. The movies can just never quite capture the book, but I thought they did a pretty close match with Hunger Games. I didn't picture Peeta like that, but oh well I guess. I've been wanting to see J. Edgar!

  4. I've been waiting for your hunger games review haha! Though I enjoyed the film and the actors, I did have some issues, but I'm sure it was due to time constraints and other things.

  5. Oh my gosh I literally said the exact same thing about Cato! He definitely was NOT what I pictured.

I see that you're reading Fifty Shades of Grey... is it good? I'm curious about it...

  7. I saw the hunger games too last night. I was a little disappointed that it left out some BIG events that ties the books together, so now I am curious to see how they tie the movies together, otherwise I think it was good. & yes I agree the characters match the book well!

    Happy Tuesday
